Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular unit, ensuring adherence to established medical protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and assist in various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-treatment care to promote overall wellness.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing license issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Proven experience in cardiovascular nursing or a related field is an advantage.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
