Overview:
Imperial Gate School is seeking a compassionate and qualified School Nurse to join our dedicated team in fostering a safe and nurturing environment for our students. As a School Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the health and well-being of our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care, first aid, and emergency response to students and staff as needed.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate health records for students with ongoing medical needs.
- Conduct health screenings and assessments to ensure early detection of health concerns.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to address health-related concerns and provide health education.
- Establish and maintain a clean and organized health office.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.
- Pediatric or school nursing experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
