As a Procurement Officer at Balmoral, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain, ensuring cost-effective acquisitions, and maintaining high-quality vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure advantageous terms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop effective procurement strategies.
- Evaluate supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product/service quality and reliability.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to inform strategic procurement decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
