Overview:
Bonnie Gray Resources, a dynamic and forward-thinking company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Company Lawyer to join our legal team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risks, and providing strategic legal counsel to support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, providing guidance to various departments to mitigate legal risks.
- Contract Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts to protect the company’s interests and maintain legal integrity.
- Corporate Governance: Oversee corporate governance matters, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Dispute Resolution: Handle legal disputes and liaise with external counsel when necessary, working towards amicable and favorable resolutions.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies, keeping them aligned with legal standards and best practices.
- Legal Research: Stay updated on legal developments affecting the industry, providing timely advice to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree; admission to the bar required.
- Proven experience as a Company Lawyer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
