Overview:
Griot Studios, a leader in the creative industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Finance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial health, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall success of Griot Studios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Proficient in using financial management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
